Stone chip repair
I knew this would be inevitable but I've been doing everything I could to avoid stone chips on the road but it finally happened.
Surprisingly, the chip is on passenger side door and it must have been from the salt bouncing all over the place back when it was snowing hard. I haven't had anything on the front bumper or the hood as of yet. If i get BMW touch up paint, what's the best way to touch up these chips without it ending up worse than before? |

Use a toothpick and apply one layer at a time. Wait 30 minutes between layers for it to dry. Put enough on so that it's like a bubble and either wet sand it yourself or take it to a pro detailer. They should be able to make it even so that you can hardly notice.

Believe it or not, but I have had success with the Dr colorchip product. Paint was exact match. If you follow the directions it works well. Google dr color chip and go on you tube too.
