Is there any hope of having a standalone option for disabling the auto blipping while downshifting in a manual?
Thanks.

How much more PSI can the turbos generate under pump fueling within their efficiency range? (Or any similar question to tell how much room was left in the turbos)

What was an area of weight the team wanted to cut but had to draw back from due to legal reasons or budget?

Have they considered an amphibious model?

Would like to know when OEM carbon fiber parts like mirror caps and others will be available. Also different interior color leathers as well. Along with exterior colors. And possibly if they will give an option to paint the brake calipers since we saw yellow, orange, and red with the m logo on this forum.

Yep, turbo comments will be most welcome.

Why no roof rack possibility with carbon roof?
Why no ski pass through in back seats? Surely weight savings are only marginal.
Why such a slow model release process/timeline? (Or is it just me?)
Why no carbon bootlid on M3?
Why no carbon engine lid as well?

Would really like to know the answer to the above. Turning off in sport plus is just not going to cut it for some buyers.

Also a clarification between the curb weights listed on the BMW website and the press release (per the other 5 page thread we have). In particular what exactly is included in both of the figures that leads to the discrepancy between the two.

Why no one outside of BMW has been given a car to test/review to date. I'm sure there is a reason and I'd be intrigued to know the answer. Customer deliveries are only 9 weeks away and we've had no reviews on the cars at all.

When will they give it over to media/press to be driven/reviewed?

Would it be possible to order the M3 (as part of the individual program) in Laguna Seca Blue? How soon will the M Performance parts (including exhaust, spoilers etc.) be available for the M3? Also, would it be possible to get the ceramic brakes in other colors?

Update on possibility of M4 GC and ways to cut out the extra 130 pounds of fat it would have (or at least something to get it closer to M3 weight).

Please see timeline: http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=934644

International press drives are the first week of May and North American press drives the first week of June.
