Sapphire black is one of very few colors that look a lot worse under spotlights. It makes the black look washed out and grey due to the metallic flakes reflecting the hard cold light more than it does outdoors. That said, it still looks good and this combo with black wheels will look magnificent outdoors, especially in twilight. I'm tempted to yet another black car.

Was hoping for Jerez Black but this color is slowly growing on me. Absolutely beautiful!

Beautiful but definitely no moonroof like the description sheet states. Interesting how the carbon fiber roof appears lighter than the black paint. Reverse contrast. Pretty sweet looking.

I'm usually more inclined to blue, Montego, Le Mans, or intergloss. But this black on black combo looks amazing!

The interior is just so ugly to me. The gray gear shift area is bulky and ugly. The way the trim going across the dash runs into the black plastic dash makes the trim look too short. The iDrive knob area looks like a stuck on afterthought. The floating GPS screen looks bad. Besides the seats the interior is awful plus with the weed whacker exhaust sound just makes me happy I got my e92. This car is such a let down. Hopefully the driving characteristics are phenomenal.

This was my big concern, that the CF roof would blend in too much with the a Black car. im so glad it still stands out. The CF roof on a red/blue/white car looks black, but on this one it looks dark grey. Interesting.

I have to say I have owned a lot of RS and S model Audis in addition to M model BMWs. I don't know what the critics or others think that Audi has a better interior. This interior is beyond beautiful and absolutely blows away any S or RS variant of Audi. The stitching, how it's all positioned for the driver and the the controls are far superior.

BMW is doing a fabulous job with all the interiors these days. That leather trimmed dash with contrast stitching is beautiful. Well done BMW. Most importantly the seats are individual for each model. You could get into a standard Audi A4 and those same seats would be in the RS7. For the money and model range BMW has right now and considering we spend a lot of time inside the cars. Amazing job.

Yeah, the CF roof is not black, it's greyish and in some light even brownish and almost black sometimes. It looks good with pretty much any color IMO.
