God this looks beautiful!

It could almost pass for an F81 M3 Wagon as well. Lol!

That was great, thanks for posting! I wish BMW would have had a few regular braked cars on hand to drill down the differences between CCB's and the regular ones. Maybe I just answered my own question. Anyway it seems like the CCB are getting lots of love. Lastly, while yellow has consistently looked garish to me , YMB looks yummy enough to eat in these photos.

Good point. Way too many glowing review on the CCBs without any contrasting tests of non CCB-equipped cars.

Thanks for sharing! I too agree that they should have given out some test cars with regular brakes. If they are anything like past M3's, they will be good enough as is and then with new lines/fluids/pads, I'm sure they will perform great on the track as well. Im praying for something similar to the E46 Comp package brakes retrofit within a reasonable time for the CCBs on the F8x- for a much better price

I think it was by design that none of the test mules were outfitted with stocker brakes. That way they end up with several buy recommendations for the CCBs just because they seem great I guess compared to the minivans that the reviewers drove to the test track. It's great that auto journalists can convincingly advise you to spend $8,500 on an option without any comparison to the stock set-up which are reputedly just as awesome.

Oh well, I guess it isn't their money.

Meanwhile I'll have to manage with my cheap blue ones.
