I will be tracking my car and the replacement costs of rotors for the CCB is crazy.The 380mm stock steel rotors are the same as my BBK on my present E92 M3 so in a 160 lb lighter M4 with proper track pads should work just fine on the track.

Ironically most track guys don't go with the the CCB. From other threads, it seems most people go for them mainly for looks first, then weight savings second.
I track my car so I'm sticking with stock steel rotors with upgraded track pads and fluid.

Yeah me too. So much so that some actually take it off for the tracks only to put them back on when they sell the car.
Running costs are just not justifiable when you extensively track the car.

As I posted at length on the various CCB threads, I don't feel the CCB provide $9772 (tax included) worth of performance improvement. As Gearhead, I will be tracking my car, making it even more expensive to opt for CCB. The stock iron rotors with good pads should be plenty sufficient.

Cost and value for the money are two important reasons. However, for me there's another reason. I drive my car during the winter and we do get a fair bit of snow. It's just not appropriate in my view to be forced to run around on 19" snow tires when I can get better performance by having the option to downsize a wee bit.

I was struggling to decide on the CCB's, due to the extremely high cost. The reviews I've read suggest the CCB's offer excellent performance.

I also will be tracking the car (approx. 2-3 times a year, maximum 4-5). I am hoping I get outstanding performance and good life from the CCB's. I am expecting the CCB's to handle 8-12 (moderate use) track days over the next 3 years. What do you think?

I know I could go with Pagid race pads. stainless brake lines, Motul 600 brake fluid and this would be a nice improvement over stock, but from my experience with Pagid's they squeal. I didn't want to get into big brake kits from Brembo or Stoptech. I know they are great products, but want to minimize aftermarket mods on the car.
