My dealer claims to have received paperwork from BMWNA detailing the specs of the 3-series "i-s" option.

Picked up an 08 e90 right before the LCI's came out. I was pretty pissed, but got lucky and was able to get out of that car and into a new LCI. Now they do it to me again with the is.....

Nothing a tune won't help fix!
