Question: Car Storage Procedure?

Going to the EU for two weeks, and I don't want to come home to a dead battery. Will the battery drain in two weeks, or will I be fine?

I've left mine a whole month once and it was outside and started first time, no delay, stuttering or anything.

Like the others have said, two weeks is perfectly fine.

I left my car in long-term parking at the airport for three (3) weeks and it still starts up.

Make sure you turn everything off in the car though.

You don't have to do anything if you are leaving it for less than 2 or 3 months. Just lock it up and put away the keys (or give them to me!).

I bought a car which sat for 7 years in the same spot. It was a 73 new yorker... The battery had to be charged but it did crank once. Jumped it and added some fresher gas to mix in with the 7+ year old gas, and drove it home. The tires were super old (at least 15 years) and were flat-spotted like mad, but it got me home.

You'll be fine at 2 weeks.
