Actually, I disagree with this statement. I have a 335is with DCT that I normally drive in Sport/Sport mode. When trying to go into Reverse, you must first push the lever back into the center before you can move it to Reverse. You cannot go directly from D Sport/Sport to Reverse. And then, if you go into Park you have to press the Sport button again once you have returned to Drive. It does not stay engaged.
