Wow... You were not kidding! Even with the wide angle view the gap between the vehicles is so small. So what I was think was you have your wife pull in where your car is hugging the wall and then you switch with her and back in hugging the other wall.
As for cost effective cabinets... Costco has a deal on a 12 piece all metal NewAge cabinet set for $1499 right now. Black with grey or red doors to choose. I ordered them but still waiting. Others seem pleased with them.
