I looked for a used M4 for a while but the difference in used price vs ordering exactly what I wanted was less than $3K. No brainer....ordered new M4 at $1K over invoice. BMW has options credit of $1K now for new M4 so I essentially am paying invoice for the car. Then when car arrives (this coming week) I submit purchase order to BMWCCA and get another $500 cash back.
