BMW's DTM car did not use the S65 and the powerplant has zero to do with the S65. It is just a coincidence DTM maximum displacement rules matched the 4.0 liters of the S65. Starting from a different engine block, nothing is the same. |
youre absolutely wrong about zero relationship to s65. point being, the s65 is based on real life v8 blocks that were part of m motorsport heritage, and deravatives continue to be. s55 is based on a standard 3 series block. woohoo!
