Did you do cold start with valves open? Because my is super loud with open valves on a cold start. With valves closed it is super quiet. When the exhaust is cold it is raspy but once warmed up the sound becomes deeper and clean.

Ya its a whole different animal. I can only do it in the mornings when people are awake. I feel bad at night for my neighbors. But not too bad...
