Bashar, I think you can get away with a non extended lift in your garage as long as you use it for your supra and bimmer. My garage ceiling is pretty high but my limiting factor were the garage door railing wich were only at about 9-10".
Measure the height on your railings and go by that. Getting a lift for me was a no brainer and def worth it not to mention much much cheaper than adding an extra bay in the garage
