That's because you don't know anything about it. It's a "smart" Lithium iron phosphate battery (LiFePo), not your dad's auto battery. The last I knew, it was unique to the F8x M3/M4. Do some research. There's a BMW technical document on the battery here on Bimmerpost.

Also, to anyone who had to buy a new battery because your old battery got drained apparently you didn't try the reconditioning process with the CTEK Lithium US battery charger. It is possible to jump the battery to get the car started but then you need to drive the car for at least an hour to get the battery charged enough.
