I had one repaired for an even smaller nick than that and that wheel is noticeably lighter than the rest. I wish I just left the wheel alone.

I have another wheel with damage similar to yours and I just took a gray marker/pencil and dotted over the lighter areas and put a clear coat on it. It's still noticeable if you look for it but unless you're inches away you don't even notice it.


Give it a few days and you won't even think about it anymore. I know the feeling though. I must have spent a day searching for options before eventually settling on my pencil/marker hack. It suffices.
