My rear tire got a nail and they also walking to their end too. So, I am thinking to get them changed soon.
I was wondering if I can put a set of Conti Extreme Contact Sport 02 or the Sport Contact 6 on the rear, and mix them with my Michelin PSS on the front?
My front was replaced in 2021 at 34k, current I am at 47k. They seem pretty alright from eyesight (photo attached). Probably they could run another 5-8k.
Just wondering if I should save that 100 bucks and get the Conti instead of the Michelin PS 4s.
My local Costco sold them for 450ish, meanwhile, the Conti Extreme is 350ish, Sport6 is 300ish.
I know mixed brands are not recommended, however, I feel both my front are still fine but the rear with the nail need to be replaced as soon as possible.
