As for the question at hand, I purchased a G82 Comp brand new when they came out in 2021. I only had the car two months, it was a horribly ugly machine which has only got worse with age and the performance felt nearly identical to my Comp car. If you want to go fast in a straight line, the x drive is the only option for the G8x unless you want to tune a non x drive car. F8x with a DCT is fast than a manual G8x, and just a hair behind the G8x comp cars in straight line speed (not noticeable). X drive is what makes the difference, and those cars are seriously fast.

I wouldn't trade my CS for any G8x car. No matter how fast you can make a G8x, it will never outrun the ugly.

Other than mixing and matching some suspension parts, are there any other hardware differences between Comp and CS that make it drive better? I believe the only hardware difference between M4 Comp and M4 CS is the front sway bar on the CS is from the base M4. No other hardware differences as far as I’m aware. Everything else is tuning which can be coded.
