Completely agree as to
kubax86 — he’s the coding guru. I changed out my NBTevo 4 for a complete NBTevo 6 system (head unit, touchscreen and controller) and he flashed the new head unit to work in my car. He’s also done other coding stuff for me too.
As for a replacement NBTevo 6 hardware, check out Straight Six Auto Parts store on eBay. They sell complete NBTevo sets taken out of dismantled BMWs. High quality used OEM parts and excellent customer service. I bought my NBTevo 6 hardware from them. Highly recommend.
