guys I am having the same issue and it made me paranoid. I also belive it causes wear on lower arm as mine was completely rubbish after 1000 miles.
I have changed the top strut mount
shock absorber
lower arm
it is still there.
Also my suspensions went wrong, as I also have a super bumpy drive especially at low speeds. it feels like my suspensions dont work at all doesnt matter comforr spor or sport plus. my garage says my top strut moves therefore it plays with whole suspension mechanism.

one thing i noticed when going over bumps. if I brake there is no clank sound. which part should we relate this?***
I dont mind going bmw and have it fixed but seems like so many people tried it yet no proper solution.
what do you guys recommend?
