I don't think there's anything new when they update the software... but you can get free idrive coded to the new one etc. I've had a guy do mine.

ok good to know, i have yet to touch iDrive so need to figure that out. no time right now to fiddle with the car, just jump in and drive when i get a chance.

please see below, i noticed a new digital speedometer and the mpg gauge doesnt show what mode im in anymore ("Sport", "Sport+" etc.). As Boostin said, i may be able to configure this in iDrive, i haven't checked yet.
