BMW is preparing to upmarket m3/4 into another price level. Leaving the m2 doing what the m3 has been doing for decades. M2 will start at 60k within few short years.

Either way this pricing is horrible as it is. People who really know their stuff with 100-130k to spend on a car has a clear choice now. These people should thank BMW for making that choice easier for them
