While the BM3 OTS maps are really good, they are designed to cover all engines and setups within the subcategory. Custom tuning, despite the lower octane and detonation threshold of pump gas, still has advantages, as I can custom tune for each engine, setup and fuel. Plus, other areas of the tune can be custom tuned as well (overrun burble, exhaust flaps, boost by gear, throttle maps.....etc.).
