It seems like the opposite to me, classic case of trailing throttle oversteer: came in the corner too hot, got off the throttle and on the brakes, which unloaded the rear and caused it to step sideways. Though one to get out of, but getting back on throttle while counter steering is the only way to potentially save it.

It's not just lift throttle oversteer.

He/she was on an off camber elevation change as well. A tough corner to manage even if they knew what they were doing.
