There is a setting you can use to remove the regenerative braking.
Or you could roll on and off the throttle more smoothly, like a 6mt car in 1st gear. Your (lack of) throttle control is what made you nauseous, in my opinion.

I drove around much like I drive my car, spirited but not like maniac. I would have to try it again without "regen braking".
