I think the problem is many of us M enthusiasts are OCD so we think about it too much. Some have built "their baby" and can't let go…
Do the math first. Best bet is usually an insurance claim, then sell the car to a dealership. I'd get another well cared for car from another M enthusiast (anyone who uses Blackstone repeatedly) and build that up.
