It’s cabin fever. Also it’s a tough call. My random opinion is both cars are two pedal cars at the end of the day. The x3m has a bit more usable trunk space. The suspension is not as refined on the x3. 265/295 pirellis can help alleviate that. The m3 suspension is more compliant even with the shorter stroke. The m3 looks better in some (most) ways (fenders). The M3 is one of the last ///M cars with an analog cluster (nostalgia factor?) w/shift lights. The x3m seats are a smidge more narrow. The x3m seats have a slightly higher quality leather compared to the m3. No torque spike in the x3m.
