The F8X M3/4 is actually quite a good track car. How do I know? I've got over 120 track days with the F8X. It's also a very decent and practical daily driver. How do I know? I daily my M4cs, drive it through all 4-seasons, to work, to bring kids to school/activities, on road trips with the whole family, to the lumbar yard, etc.. It's not the best track car nor is it the best daily driver, but it sure is the best compromise and it is what has kept me coming back to the M3/4 for the last 20 years. Like I like saying fondly about my M3/4, they are not the best at anything, but they are second best at everything .

That being said, the G8X does not appeal to me, so I will also be one of those switching to a 992. I have a deposit down for a 2021 911turbo
