And at $899, the scheduled is the much better value. Odds are most folks, unless they track, will not need brakes before the 5 year mark and maybe just at the 75k mark. Even then, if you have the standard blue brakes, they are less than the differential in price. As for the the $899 price, don't expect anyone to discount that because there is little margin. However, at that timeframe, you can expect one free set of plugs outside the original 36k period, and if you're timing it right and getting the car into service as early as possible and sometimes a tad before the service is due (hey, look at this possible warranty item and please service too), then you may end up with the 90k service done by 75k and a second set of plugs under the plan.

OP, if you plan on selling within a year, the market is still probably going to be a little crazy because of the ongoing chip shortage so why bother as the car should sell strongly.
