Notice the pattern? E46 pre-LCI = no LED, E46 LCI = LED, E9X pre-LCI = no LED, E9X LCI = LED, F8X pre-LCI = no LED, F8X LCI = ???
This just another game car manufacturers play so that they can release an LCI/facelift/update a couple years down the road.
Some of you may remember the 08 E90 M3s really got the bad end of the stick, where the LCI tail light update appeared literally a year later.
I suppose its the sacrifice you must make to be one of the first ones on the block.
