Like someone else said, any short shift kit you buy will require working from underneath the car to disconnect the shift lever from the linkage. I installed the AS kit in mine, it took me a while but it was worth it.
The nice thing about AS is that Ron will customize the shifter to exactly what you want. The downside is that there is a 2-3 month lead time on AS kits since each one is custom.
