having ridden in a boxster S as well as seen many 911 convertibles at PCA events at Texas World Speedway.. ... I would tend to disagree... some owners... DO want to do serious driving in their convertibles.
It's not something that *I* would do.... but I do feel that people (and instructors as crazy as I to get in the right seat) should be able to take their convertibles on track.... although Hopefully.. at some point.. they decide a car with a roof would be a better choice.
