There's no promise of an X3M, by the way.
There is strong indication (near certain) of an X4 M Performance with a high output N55 similar to the one that will be in the M2. No word on whether there will be an X3 counterpart. But as for the S55 in the X3 or X4 with proper M treatment (as proper as it gets for an SUV) like an X5/X6 M, well, it appears somewhat unlikely right now.
