Just picked up a 2015 for this reason. My previous vehicle was paid off and begun to have issues and I used the opportunity to trade it in and finally get an M.
~36,500mi with exec package and new tires for $38k.
Edit: Saw my truck listed at the dealership ~25% higher than my trade in value, which is what I expected and seems in line with what you’re seeing.
