I guess the thing for me is that I will openly admit that I don't know how to drive well on the track. So I wonder if the M4 should serve as the car that I learn on before moving to a garage queen track car.  And perhaps through working on the car I will learn more about what makes cars quicker around the track. |
Well one won't help you learn how to drive on the track better than the other or at all. That's something personal. But I like what bowser 330 said below. A used 997 911 turbo 6 speed would be great if you're worried about damage to a brand new car on the track. They're plenty fast and great all around.
