That did not work for me..

I tried your trick but the ticking sound coming from the middle plastic part still exist.. DRIVING ME NUTS!

The only solution to eliminate the ticking sound is to put my hand around that hole and grab it. stupid competition pack seats...
Trying to find the solution but no clue at the moment.
ANY HELP!?!
