nars3000 , I actually encountered a similar issue. My E85 map failed to switch to 91 and within few miles I got a drivetrain malfunction with Injector Shut off, and misfire on cylinder 6. I let the car sit overnight, solved the flashing issue, and flashed back to stock, and the car started up fine the next day. No issues so far for the past month.
I also was thinking to get into injector replacement but so far so good. I am wondering if there is a way to confirm if no damage was done to injector/spark plug/or else.
