To be fair, I still think spline lock hub provides a better protection
if it's combined with CBC thanks to its one piece design. However, CBC is probably the best value considering how long it's been out and how much it costs etc (again these are just my opinions). Regarding the CBC labor, I got quoted $550 but I have seen quotes ranging from $500 to $600. Anything below $500 is pretty good deal however, just make sure it's a reputable shop.
