Had them on my last modded car they had great grip in the dry and wet but with aggressive driving lasted approx 15-20 k for a rear set. Didn't pay any attention to road noise as I would have tire chirping until 4th gear anyway. They were my OEM tire for my G8 GT and on the G8 forum I bought 4 sets and didn't car about thread wear.
