IF you have the time... take the back country roads up to Pottenstein. Either the B2 out of Nurnberg... or take Autobahn A3 to the A73 to Forchheim.. then take the B470 into Pottenstein. The B470 is the way most people drive into that area. Once you get past Forchheim... it is a nice country road. On the way back South... I would say take your way... on the A9 from Pottenstein to Nurnberg and then onto Munich.

If you are talking about the "expensive" restaurant on the way to Kufstein, I haven't had the chance. They are closed on Mondays
