[Sir Loin]

I had this problem with my E46 M3. Interestingly enough, this has not happened to me with my new M3, in any of the throttle response setting. Probably because the new F80 M3's throttle response is less sensitive than my old car.

I think it happens more easily if you are sitting further away from the pedals because your right leg is more extended and is harder to apply consistent and forceful pressure to the gas pedal.

A proper (i.e. closer to the pedals) sitting position should help.
