If you slam on the throttle with the car stationnary, DCT will attempt a clutch drop launch (raise the RPM and drop the clutch). If DSC in on (or in MDM), it will cut back on the engine as soon as it sense wheel spin. This will cause jerkiness.

A trick is to give a slight touch on the throttle just before you want to take-off to have DCT engage the clutch. Once you feel the clutch has taken, you can aggressively roll on the throttle and get a smooth launch.

This was the case on my DCT F92 M3 and is the same with my DCT M4.
