Sorry to hear. Those micro scratches, which sound like love marks, can be frustrating. You mention you did a quick wash. How do you wash it? How do you dry it (which is when it can be easy to mar if you don’t use a drying aid and a good quality microfiber)? If the car is not new to you, is it possible those scratches were introduced by the previous owner?
I’ve found BMW paints to be somewhat easy to correct, but of course being mindful that there is only so much clear cost to work with.
Anyway, hope you can get it sorted.
