I was on the Facebook "F80 M3 / M4 Enthusiasts"group when I saw a new post from Payam Harouni from Burger Motorsports releasing a blowoff valve kit for our cars. If this isn't new news I apologize and missed the previous threads, I searched and didn't see any... I guess my question is why? Other than the fun sound why do it, is there a performance gain?

I know some guys kind of like the whoosh sound and that's cool if that's all it's for, but I'd love to know what the smart folks know and think.

Also if someone has pictures of the kit and could explain how it would work/install it (following the Facebook thread apparently it will attach below the J-Pipe) would be interesting information and probably make for some even more interesting conversation.

Interesting. I'd assume it'll do nothing for performance, just sound.
