My issue with type of mic placement is that the image I see doesn’t match the audio I hear. It shouldn’t sound like that inside the car.
I feel like I already own way too much stuff, but I’m considering getting a binaural microphone to attach to my helmet. I’m fine with just the normal audio inside the car, but going binaural would add a nice 3D effect, and would be really noticeable when passing other cars.
