$55k is right on top of other new 2dr cars like gt350 and definitely in range of used cars the next level up (z06, 997.1 TT, etc)
For the bmw lineup its priced right but for what else is out there, i think it is in a tough spot.
The other thing i have to wonder is that if the size of m car is so important why not just get an e30? $55k wil get you a nice one
