I would say that the Mustang would get old really fast. It may be a better drivers car, it will become a pain to drive on a daily basis a lot faster than the M3 would I feel. M3 is better rounded IMO. But if it's not a daily driver and you're going to drive it occasionally then perhaps a better driving oriented car would be the way to go.
