I'm curious about this as well. It appears TPG tried this and it still failed.
However, I wonder if the Gintani solution works since it is a one piece design. Although it's not clear to me if the pulley/hub unit is pinned to the crank.
Any know? Has the Gintani solution failed and resulted in a SCH?
