Part of the reason cars with paintwork are worth less is that the potential buyer never knows how well the car was repaired, what corners were cut when repairing, if they used quality parts, etc. It's a big risk on the buyer's side, so there is an adjustment to the price of any car with prior damage to it as a result. |
Yea the only good option if you had to keep it would be to keep it for like 10 years. The hit you'll take on the resale won't be as bad.
