If BMW is going to follow the M5/M6 options path then there may be an Individual Composition interior option and some exterior paints for the M3/M4 from the get go, or most probably by the second model year. The Full Leather interior opens up a lot of Individual possibilities.
In my particular case, I normally go for the
really Individual route, where I pick and choose what I want. That requires direct communication with Individual via the dealer.
