The slight stretch on the GTS tires are to make it more nimble, better turn in with less sidewall flex & gives more precise feedback. The GTS was designed more towards a track purpose feel. I had the vorsteiners on my old M4 and did the wider tire size and had more HP. On this one I have the same wheels but went down to the 265/285 which has some stretch and less sidewall and the handling in the mountains are so much better.....
